Born: 1941, Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada Pat Service was raised on the West Coast. After graduating from University, she lived and travelled in Eastern Canada, Scotland and Venezuela. Since 1972, she has been back in Vancouver, painting full-time. EDUCATION 1966-67 Studied at the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland 1963 Awarded Bachelor of Arts Degree, University of British Columbia SPECIAL PROFESSIONAL 1983, 1993 Participated in Triangle Artists' Workshop for painters and sculptors, New York 1980 - 1991 Attended Emma Lake Artists' Workshops , University of Saskatchewan 1996 Artist in Residenceat Painters at Painters, Campbell River, BC. 1996 No Better Land, by Robert L. Bagshaw, Sono Nis Press, Victoira, featured painting 'Windy Point' as the cover. 1996 Invited to participate in 'Land Scape 96' visual arts festival in Saskatoon, joining six other articipants to paint 'en plein air' around the city.
